I forgot to mention I have fascination with the story of the ugly duckling, Halloween, and with aliens...it is partly to do with the themes of identity and feeling like a alien.... that I have preferred to sign my paintings KLH rather than a name...maybe someday I will sign a name, check back to see.

I will post some Alien art, random stuff, and Halloween costumes here.

Music sent to space for aliens: David Bowie and Paul McCartney's alien concert

Michael Luckman's who organized the concert is author of the book ALIEN ROCK : THE ROCK 'N' ROLL EXTRATERRESTRIAL CONNECTION the book explores the inside stories of rock stars obsessions and experiences with UFOs - from Elvis Presley and David Bowie to Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Blondie and the Foo Fighters, who record on Roswell Records.....I'm seeing a connection to being an artist and interest in ufos? hmmm, maybe I should take up electric guitar! jk.

Dr. Bohemia for not diluting my artistic chemistry, Dr.Ackone for lighting the flame and words to "always see", and Nico Greenman and Marsha for knowing that a young alien can grow- Beyond Labels.......... To the Geggy Tah band for Kevin's song "Starting over Like A Child", and for many songs that make me feel right at home, bring comfort, when I am in "alien"ated moods esp "ALIENS SOMEWHERE song. To Kathy, it's been a long time coming! thank you for letting me take care of your amazing children...and opening and offering your magical and musical home to a very lost little alien...and for being Amanda's mom! hearing her music of The Dresden Dolls has moved me, empowered me to share my painting via this website. To my kindred sisters- amazing lights in this world, Marisa and Carmen you're presence is gift indeed...I can hardly wait to see who you "uniquely" grow up to b! I have a feeling your parents who understand "how to raise beautiful, magical, ducklings". Especially to my artist cousin: Mosiaca- for always making time to take me on nature adventures(Petertoo) exposing, the little me, to many new things here on earth to discover and.... who I will always look up to no matter how tall I've grown...all my cousins for being so loving...the twins for their eyes that light up when they greet alien me and for their out of this world hugz.... My Aunt and Uncle Bird for letting me play in the dirt, magical Halloween costumes, and sharing their home and amazing earthling cooking.

Also to my circle teachers: lynxsoulsis, her amusing poetic insanity keeps me afloat on this tidal wave ocean, Medicinestory, Slow Turtle and Hollis Little Creek for bringing the ancient circle into present time... for passing on the stories to keep the fire lit . My flock of Angels on the otherside, love forever. The "magical lady" for her faith in the power of creativity. The Adam's Family, yep just like the tv show... for making our blended family so amazing and for always listening to me when I have an aliennervousbreakdown…

magoo for being you, to Keke for teaching me to always "believe", never give up, I am in awe of your courage after the accident, I have faith I will hear you sing and play piano once again- and live new dreams-your light is so strong. For the alien parentae for the bizarre genetics....... to my sister for my name Kricket! and for having an open mind to things magical and unseen...my bro who always gave me the craziest toys on the top of my wish list and started me with webbuilding....Gary and fam for the NY art appreciation, Di for understanding hypersensitivity and being like a sister to me....to my neices and nephew for reminding me...... that even though sandcastles get washed away they must be built to the sky! and often.......for letting me keep my place at the "kids only table" forever... and to my parents who never gave up on me, no matter how difficult raising an alien was...still.....is?.... and for knowing...discovering how to care for an ugly duckling, thank you. To my son, for bringing me gently down to earth when I can't seem to find my way back, for being the left brain in our family....and for actually living in my artspace/mess with me, and thank you for "always" finding a way to make me laugh no matter how dark the day has been.... at times ten thousand light years from home.
